Zoho CRM Analytics: Mastering Data Recovery and Component Filters
Hello everyone,
Zoho CRM Analytics: Mastering Data Recovery and Component Filters
Zoho announced two major updates to your Analytics Dashboard that will enhance your data management experience: Component Filters and Recently Deleted Items. These features are designed to give you more control and flexibility in analyzing your data.
Component Filters
Component Filters let users apply filters directly to dashboard components without altering their settings. For example, if a sales manager shares a component analyzing deals, sales executives can now filter results by date or lead source right on the component.
This is where component filters come into the picture.
Dynamic Application: Apply filters instantly and see results without changing component configurations.
Customization: Use fields from primary and secondary modules to personalize data views.
Persistent Filters: Save filter settings to keep them active across sessions.
After setting up the filter fields, you can apply the filter values and view the results temporarily by clicking Apply. If you want the filter values to remain active until you decide to remove them manually, clicking Apply and Save will ensure the filters persist even upon refreshing the dashboard or navigating away and returning to the page.
Component Filters are available for most dashboard components, except the Anomaly Detector and Comparator (with parameters from different modules). Filters set in the Dashboard tab won’t carry over to the Home page.
Recently deleted dashboards/components
Accidentally deleted a dashboard or component? No worries! The Recently Deleted feature lets you restore items within 30 days, making it easier to recover accidentally deleted data or items you might need again.
Key features
Two Tabs: Navigate through Dashboards and Components with grid and list views.
Clear Timeline: See deleted items organized by deletion date.
Easy Restoration: Restore components directly if their parent dashboard is available or choose to restore them into a different dashboard if the parent is also deleted.
While restoring a deleted component, there are two possible scenarios.
- When the parent dashboard of the deleted component(s) is/are available in analytics, you can simply select the component and restore it directly.
- When the parent dashboard of the deleted component(s) is/are also in the recently deleted list, a pop-up will appear and ask you to select one of two restoration types:
- Restore the component along with its parent dashboard.
- Select a different dashboard to restore the component into.
Feature Availability:
Component Filters: Available for all editions in JP, CN, and AU; Standard and Professional editions in IN, US, and EU data centers.
Recently Deleted: Available for new sign-ups in all data centers; existing orgs in Standard and Professional editions everywhere, and Enterprise editions in AU, JP, and CN data centers.
We hope these updates improve your dashboard experience. For more details contact pfc-group.com .
