Zoho Analytics : August 2024 Updates

Zoho announced the latest enhancements and features in Zoho Analytics. These updates are designed to improve your data connectivity, analysis, and overall experience. Let's dive in!

Effortless Cloud Data Connection

Imagine accessing your data hosted in the cloud without the hassle of allow-listing IP addresses. With Zoho Data bridge, you can now connect seamlessly to your cloud-hosted data, even when it's tucked away in a private network. We've also given the Databases and Datalakes page a fresh new look, making it easier than ever to connect to your preferred data sources.

Unlocking JSON Data with Ease

Need to extract data from JSON columns within Zoho Analytics? The new built-in function, extract_json(), makes it a breeze. This function simplifies working with JSON data, giving you more flexibility in your data analysis.  

New Flexibility with String Data Types

Now, Zoho Analytics supports plain text data types in report formulas. This means you can categorize numeric data based on specific conditions, making it ideal for performance tracking and data segmentation.

Smarter Conditional Formatting

With the latest update, you can apply conditional formatting based on other columns in your pivot table. This gives you greater flexibility and makes comparing related columns much simpler.

Enhanced Dashboards

Dashboards just got better! You can now add static images and custom icons to KPI widgets, providing visual cues that enhance the dashboard's appeal and guide users without lengthy descriptions. Plus, copying and pasting reports in dashboards has never been easier, saving you time and effort in recreating similar reports.

Zoho Analytics allows you to reuse reports and KPI widgets by copying and pasting reports to other tabs in the dashboards. This cuts down the redundant work and saves time recreating similar reports.

Collaborative Reporting

Users can now share the reports they've created with Administrators. This was previously not possible, but with this update, shared views will appear in the Shared Views folder, complete with the name of the user who shared them.  

Add-ons for Zoho CRM and Zoho Books Ultimate Plans
