Kiosk 1.1 - Simplify Field Configurations

Hello all,

We’re back with more updates to Kiosk. So, what’s new?

Enhancements to Components

  • Screen Titles and Width: You can now add titles to your Kiosk screens and adjust their width for better viewing.

  • New Fields: Add Percentage, URL, and Decimal fields to your screens.

  • Rename Paths: Edit the default path's name in the decision component.

Enhancements to Actions

  • New Actions: Convert, Add Meeting, and Add Calls can now be configured in your Kiosk.

  • Merge Field: Use the # Merge Field function to merge values from Kiosk screens or CRM data when updating fields.

  • Create Record: Select values from existing data in picklist, multi-line, and checkbox fields.

Let's dive into the details below.

Add titles for your Kiosk screens and adjust its width to suit your viewing preference

You can now set a custom title for your Kiosk screens, making them more engaging. Titles can be based on the component's name, a new title, or left blank. Adjust screen width to 670 pixels (ideal for pop-ups) or 1000 pixels (better for larger displays).

Percentage, URL, & Decimal : The three new fields that can be added to your Kiosk screen

In CRM, Kiosks give you great flexibility to collect and display data on your screens to your users. You can now add the Percentage, URL, and Decimal fields to your screens in addition to those already available.

  • Decimal: Add decimal values with options for maximum digits and decimal places. You can also make the field mandatory, display number separators, or add a tooltip.

  • Percentage: Enter percentage values and merge them from your Kiosk or CRM data. The field can be mandatory and include tooltips.

  • URL: Allow users to input a URL with options to merge values from your Kiosk or CRM data and include tooltips.

Rename Default Path in Decision Component

You can now rename the default path in your Kiosk’s decision component to fit your preferences.

Convert, Add Meeting, & Add Calls : The three new actions that can be configured in your Kiosk

Convert

Convert leads to contacts or create new deals after a record is updated.

Add Meeting

Schedule meetings with users after they interact with your Kiosk.

Schedule a call

Set up calls with users, allowing for follow-ups or product briefings.

Merge any value using # Merge Field from your Kiosk screen or from CRM data in the Field Update action

Merge Fields and Update Action

You can now merge values from Kiosk screens or CRM data into the field update action. This allows for greater flexibility, such as updating lead status based on information gathered from the Kiosk.

Select values from existing data in picklist fields, multi-line fields and check box fields in the Create Record Action

Select Values in Create Record Action

Now, you can select values from existing data for picklist, multi-line, or checkbox fields when creating a record. Choose either Static (current data) or Reference (existing data) options. For example, in a feedback Kiosk, users can input data on the first screen, which will automatically populate in the "create record" action, streamlining the process.

Availability and Roadmap

These updates are available for all partner demo accounts, except IN DC. We’ll update you on its availability in the IN DC soon.

Roadmap Highlights:
