Privacy! A much scrutinized topic when it comes to handling customer information. Safeguarding personal information is a foremost agenda and we at Zoho, strongly believe that user's data should not be compromised at any cost and infuse the same in our products. If the privacy of customers' data is taken for granted it will put a company's loyalty at stake.
Speaking of the Zoho CRM mobile app, we have an interesting set of features to protect your CRM data.
What better way than to safeguard your data than to use a passcode to access it? Passcode provides an additional layer of security to the app and will prevent others from prying into the app and accessing your data.
To enable Passcode, please follow the steps mentioned below:
Go to the Zoho CRM mobile app.
Go to the Settings.
Scroll down to select the 'Privacy & Security' option available under 'Manage Privacy' section.
Enable 'Passcode' and set the same.
Text Copy
Records might contain sensitive information which should not be shared with outsiders. However, when it comes to mobile platforms, it is pretty easy to copy the information and share them which might compromise the data. In order to avoid data leakage, the 'Text copy' feature has been accommodated. Disabling the 'Text copy' feature will restrict the users from copying the information available in the app and pasting them elsewhere, like a telephone number for example.
Encrypt data in this device
By enabling this option, the data available within the app will be encrypted (AES encryption) and won't be stored on the mobile device.
Screen Capture
Enabling this feature will prevent the users from taking screenshots of the data in the app. This feature is currently supported on Android version of the CRM mobile app only.
It is very important that your data is kept safe and secure and to ensure your data is protected all the time, go ahead and try out the above methods. Try it out and let us know what you think in the comments section.
