Manage API usage better with Zoho CRM updated credit limits

Organizations frequently rely on Zoho CRM APIs for various business needs, and running out of API credits before the 24-hour rolling window replenishes can be a major disruption. To ensure your business continues to run smoothly, we are pleased to announce an increase in the maximum API credits for the following editions of Zoho CRM:

  • Professional

  • Enterprise/Zoho One

Quick Recap:

Each Zoho CRM edition comes with an allotted number of API credits that refreshes every 24 hours. The number of allowed credits is determined by the number of user licenses. For example, the Professional edition with 100 user licenses is entitled to 100,000 API credits (calculated as 50,000 base credits + 500 credits per user license). If your organization needs more credits, you can purchase additional credits. However, the total credits, including any add-ons, cannot exceed the maximum limit set for your edition.

How This Helps Your Organization:

Since each organization has unique credit consumption needs, you can purchase additional credits up to the new maximum credit limits for your edition. With these increased maximum credits, there is now more flexibility to purchase add-on credits as required.

For example, under the Professional edition, if an organization has 100 user licenses, it would typically have 100,000 allowed credits. Previously, the organization could purchase up to 900,000 add-on credits, bringing the total to the maximum limit of 1,000,000 credits. With the revised maximum of 3,000,000 credits, the organization can now purchase up to 2,900,000 additional credits!

What If You Run Out of Credits?

We understand that running out of API credits can impact your business operations. To prevent any immediate disruptions, we offer a grace period, allowing you some additional time to purchase extra credits based on your needs.
