CRM Portal Licenses: Revised Pricing for Greater Affordability

CRM Portal Licenses: Revised Pricing for Greater Affordability

Hello everyone,

Zoho have  updated the pricing structure for portal user licenses, which will take effect from your next payment cycle. The new pricing will now be based on slabs, as outlined below:

Previously, each portal user license cost $5 per user per month.

  • With the new pricing model, as the number of portal users increases, the cost per user goes down, making it more affordable to grow your portal.

For example, if you have a portal for your retailer network and purchase 15,000 portal user licenses, the cost breakdown would be:

    • Old pricing (at $5 per user per month): $75,000

    • New slab-based pricing (for 15,000 users): $26,000

    • Savings: $49,000 (a 65% cost reduction per month)

Availability:

  • Editions: Enterprise | Ultimate

  • Data Centers: All

  • Rollout Plan: This new slab-based pricing is now available for CRM and CRMPlus users. It will be available to Zoho One users within a week.

  • [Update | 21 Aug 2024] Zoho One users now have access to this new pricing.

Upcoming Change:

In the next update, you'll be able to invite up to 1,000 portal users for free. You can distribute these free users across up to five different portal user types, giving you more flexibility.

Previously, you could invite up to 10,000 users for free, but only under the first portal user type and restricted to the Contacts module. Now, with the new update, you can invite users under any portal user type, giving you more options in managing your portal users.

Although the number of free invites has been reduced, the flexibility in using them across different user types, combined with lower per-user costs and new features, should balance things out. For instance, portal users can now be part of blueprints and access kiosks via custom buttons.

What stays the same? If you've already invited users under the previous 10,000 free user plan, those users will remain free. There won’t be any additional charges for them.

Moving forward, any portal user licenses you've purchased or will buy will follow the new pricing model. This way, you’ll only pay for the extra users you add beyond your current number.
